Washington Catholic Gives Back!


Washington Catholic Schools joined forces to celebrate Catholic Schools Week by giving back to the frontline healthcare workers who give of themselves everyday to improve the health of people in our community.   Washington Catholic was the first area school to “Fill the Cart” and, . thanks to the generosity of our Cardinal families, teacher and staff, we are thrilled to say we had 100% participation! Thank you Daviess County Hospital for all of your hard work!

Snow Day eLEarning Updates for February 18-19, 2021

College Goal Sunday

The first virtual College Goal Sunday of 2021 takes place at 2pm (ET) on March 7th.  Please visit CollegeGoalSunday.org for information about the event and items to get organized for a successful filing experience.  Also on the website are resources to help you promote Indiana’s largest FAFSA filing event.  On March 7th families will simply go to CollegeGoalSunday.org and click the link that will be displayed there to enter the virtual event.  FAFSA experts from across Indiana will be available to assist with the FAFSA filing. 

College Goal Sunday is once again having a drawing for 5 scholarships worth $1,000 each for students who attend virtual CGS and fill out a survey on March 7th!

WC Alumni Spotlight

Tyler Underhill, a member of Our Lady of Hope and a WC graduate, met the Pope! 
Tyler, a graduate of Marian University in Indianapolis, will spend 5 years in Rome to complete his studies to serve as a Catholic Priest.   Only 23 years old, Tyler is one of two local Seminarians blessed with the opportunity to meet the Pope.  He plans to return to the Diocese of Evansville upon completing his studies, a total of 8 years,  and serve his community as a Catholic Priest.
