Affordability & Tuition Assistance

Affordability & Tuition Assistance
Washington Catholic has various options for financial assistance including the State of
Indiana's School Choice and Voucher programs.

We know that parents desire a school that meets their needs and supports their values.  We also
understand that tuition for a Catholic education is a significant investment which may be beyond
the means of some families.  The following are options available to families who qualify within
specific program eligibility guidelines, and the Admissions Department is happy to explain the
options in detail based on each family's eligibility.

Indiana School Choice Voucher Program
Indiana's School Choice Voucher program enables qualified families to receive a credit(a school voucher)
toward the cost of education at Washington Catholic.  This program has 9 different pathways but the most
common pathways are for students currently enrolled in an Indiana public school for at least two semesters
including kindergarten(e.g. coming to WC for 1st through high school), assigned to an "F" rated public school
district, and SGO Grant recipients in the prior school year.  Voucher applications must be completed with
Teresa Joyce, Director of Development/Enrollment.  Specific deadlines apply. www.doe.in.gov/choice

Indiana SGO Grants Program
Washington Catholic is partnering with Quality for Education (I4QED) to provide SGO Grants to Indiana
residents whose child will be entering Kindergarten as well as other students through grades 12, as well
as qualify based on income. www.i4qed.org

Our Lady of Hope Assistance
Washington Catholic offers tuition assistance options primarily for families who do not qualify for the State
programs, including those above the State income guidelines and those who do not reside in Indiana.
Special circumstances are considered.
